I am Jack, and my goal is to capture a unique story of you, your event and the world.

Photography to me is not only about creating artwork, sharing my perspective and capturing memories, but also about the experiences that are contained outside the boundaries of the frame. My work can be placed into two categories which include my fine art collection and photography services (events and portraits). I love adventures and have always tried to share these in photography form. However, my goal is to finally share the process, the how and the where. My experiences in capturing nature, landscapes, events and portraits blend together in a way that allows me to capture unique stories.

A little about me

Growing up in Sydney has given me a lot of opportunity to create and share my work. Born and raised in Camden, NSW, I have always been passionate about my local area, capturing events like the Camden Show, Australia Day events and the local community. My passion for capturing my local nature and landscapes has been exhibited in the Macarthur Nature Photography Competition where I have been fortunate enough to have won multiple awards.

My story of photography started when I was at a young age following my grandparents’ move to the Blue Mountains. On school holidays I stayed over with my grandad who took me out to learn and explore different forms of photography on my point and shoot camera. We travelled to scenic lookouts, abandoned blast furnaces and through dense bush to capture nature in its purest form. Growing up I continued to explore this art form through different perspectives from the sky or a macro lens. I continued to practice these skills as I developed a more personal connection with the world, finding a love for capturing people and nature.

Capturing a unique story is more than just documenting — it’s about capturing the little moments, the setting, and emotions. My style incorporates my love of landscapes and nature with storytelling.

There are aspects that I look forward to sharing with you, which include my fine art photography collection and my personal photography services. Each photograph in my fine art collection is a small part of a story. My goal is to capture not only a unique perspective, location or event but also to tell the journey.

I look forward to sharing all our adventures through blog posts and videos which tell the story of where and how the photographs were captured, expressing my value of integrity in photography. My photography services will capture your event with the same mindset, drawing a strong focus on feeling and expression.

What I value

In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), we can be fooled by images which share a false story. I believe that integrity, communication and authenticity are some of the most important aspects that create trust in a brand or individual.
Through documenting the journey in capturing fine art photography to telling the story of an event, I believe this art form requires trust in a world where manipulation and falsities are so prevalent.

Integrity is achieved through my strong stance against AI in any of my photographs. All images in a fine art series will be captured on site, and no images will be blended in using Photoshop. I believe image manipulation software to edit RAW images and develop the final product does not violate the art as long as all the images are taken on location.

I combine this with communication to share how and where the images are captured, as well as the journey along the way so that everyone can experience nature. Communication with individuals and businesses is also integral in providing a product that is intended for a particular audience.

Authenticity confirms that I have achieved both integrity and communication, and I provide the product that you intended on receiving.

Through my experience in numerous events including weddings, concerts, awards nights and parties, I am able to capture your unique story. Portrait photography also allows me to combine my love of scenery with you as the subject.
